Hang Son Doong, meaning “Mountain River cave”, might be the world’s largest cave. It somehow managed to escape detection during previous British caving expeditions until several years ago when a local farmer found the entrance to this subterranean world. Exploring the cave is no easy task as it is inhabited by poisionous centipedes.
